Prefer 9-to-12-month lease, with possibility to extend or purchase house after that time period. $3,800/month including utilities (which are typically ~$500-600/month) or $3,400/month with no utilities if you prefer to transfer everything. * We bought this house same-day when house-hunting because it stood out so much with its wonderful location, so much natural light/windows and open floor-plan compared to other houses in the region. * Thought we'd be staying long-term so in the last year we've installed a new high-efficiency central HVAC system with MERV13 air filtration (constant flow) + indoor air quality monitor; new roof; and new floors in 3/4 of the house *~2800 square feet, 4 official bedrooms/offices but we've also converted the finished basement into a 5th, 2 giant living rooms, 2-car garage, fully fenced back patio/terrace * House is on one of the quietest streets in Squirrel Hill, right next to the Frick environmental center. It's a dead-end street with no through traffic. * Pet- and kid-friendly; up to 2 dogs or 2 cats * Partly-furnished with some furniture (1-2 queen beds, kitchen bar stools, desk, couch); can remove anything not needed. * Dishwasher, laundry machine, dehumidifiers. Tons of storage space and closets Owners prefer to continue to pay for all utilities for a total of $3,900/month rent (includes electricity, natural gas, water and super fast internet - typically ~$500-600/month) to keep everything simple; but could transfer to you if you prefer. If utilities are used irresponsibly and cost more than $600/month on average the renter would be expected to pay the excess.
