Fully furnished HOUSE SHARE for rent $1,650. I'm taking an indefinite hiatus from listing my five-star Airbnb, Sierra Blue Zone and sharing it instead with the right person. It's again Zillow's rules to include the Airbnb link but you can search it under Sierra Blue Zone , listed for $298 a night. Your bedroom is the first one you'll see on the Airbnb landing page. It's located on the opposite end of the house from mine. Sierra Blue Zone is a 2,600 s.f. log cabin with lots of privacy and a tranquil, artistic creative space. Your bedroom has a Moroccan hand-stenciled accent wall, a wall mounted Samsung TV with high-speed internet and a converted closet that's been turned into a coffee/tea alcove. Step out of the sliding glass doors to a mosaic cafe table and chairs under the palm tree by the pool for your morning coffee or a late night glass of wine. There's a stone walkway that runs from the front of the house leading to the private entrance of your bedroom. You'll share full access to the house which includes the dining room, office (with printers), kitchen with a new Viking stove, huge living room as well as the pool and BBQ/outdoor area. The bathroom off your bedroom will be 95% yours. The solar-heated pool is about 10 paces from your bedroom door. Swimming outside at night in warm water under the stars is just amazing. This is perfect for someone with few things wanting a fresh start, as I already have everything. The ambience is conducive to lively creativity, but also provides a relaxing refuge to come home to to after a hard day's work. A cat or cat-friendly dog is OK. I'm an artist/designer who works from home. I play music when I cook, and often times throughout the day, and so can you! The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to create a Michelin-star worthy meal. The house is alive with creative energy, and it's designed to be enjoyed and lived in! When I'm not working (I work from home) I love to cook, enjoy the occasional cocktail or glass of wine by the pool, swim, read, watch the bats at sunset over the pool, watch movies and stargaze. I'm often active in the kitchen until around 10 at night. Sometimes on the weekends I have people over until around midnight so can you. I'm all for having friends over and entertaining. The house is often filled with exotic fragrances and music of one kind or another, and then quiet time as needed. To retain the open and artist nature of this home, Sierra Blue Zone is a religion-free, politics-free refuge. All utilities are included. The house is mainly run on solar energy. There's a state-of-the-art hybrid backup system, so when the park's power is down, we're still up and running. The pool is solar-heated, adding warm night swimming and an extra month of swimming on either end of the summer season. There's a powerful HVAC system with separately zoned ecobee thermostats for each of our individual comfort. The house is equipped with the highest speed internet available, Google Home in many rooms, Smart TVs which have Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, all paid for. Music on demand via Google mini pods are installed throughout house, including your bedroom, great for turning on or off the TV from bed, or adjusting light color/intensity, playing music, setting alarms or asking Google ridiculous questions. Things I need from you: You have an innate love and respect for all pets and wildlife, including squirrels and rattlesnakes (not joking.) There's no housekeeper so it's you and me and we'll need to share in the household chores, and here's the catch I'll need for that to be to airbnb standards. If you are not this person and living in a beautifully serene and clean house isn't important to you, please don't contact me. I'm looking for someone with strong communication skills who will honor their agreements and pay on time, every time. Please contact me if you are willing to provide proof of stable employment, an emergency contact, two room mate or housing references, first month's rent with an $825 deposit. I will do a $30 background check with a good faith deposit. If you wind up living here, I'll deduct the cost of the background check from the first month's rent. Please know that because of past experience, and because Sierra Blue Zone is a business, I retain an attorney, so potential squatters don't even think about it, and potential roommates who can't afford it and plan on ceasing payment soon after taking occupancy and skating for months, you won't be able to pull that off here. Smoking outside OK with strict smoking protocol- -Fire hazard is high here. Month to month lease. Either of us can end it at will with no cause with 30 days notice. Anything destroyed while you're here will need to be replaced by you. Your private space even though it's your space will need to be kept neat and clean-- no stacked up dirty dishes left in the bedroom for example. I'll expect you to chip in with shared house staples. Showing a lack of respect for the house I've worked so hard on making beautiful will get you jettisoned out! Any pet damage will be your responsibility to repair/replace with my approval. I'll go over the details/quirks (older house, so things like no food down the garbage disposal) of living here when we talk.
