The fully furnished apartment is a recently renovated space in the lower level of my home with lots of natural light and with a separate entrance through the driveway gate at the rear of the house. The apartment is in a beautiful, quiet residential northside Ann Arbor neighborhood. The living space of the apartment is approximately 600 sf, plus storage space in the utility room, plus the large shared laundry/mud room. One block from STEAM K-8 school, block from Project Grow community garden, one block from public bus line downtown, two blocks from bus line to University of Michigan north campus, 25-30 minute walk to downtown, 10-minute walk to Black Pond Woods, Huron River/Argo Pond boardwalk and trails, Lower Town cafe, and the Cascades where one can tube or kayak down! University of Michigan Hospital ("Michigan Medicine") is a 5 minute drive, or the bus stop to the campus is a 10-minute walk. Shared laundry/mud room (with me who lives upstairs when not traveling) at entrance. Apartment entrance through a french door off the laundry. Family room w/queen size futon, TV, and desk/workout area; bedroom with queen size bed, desk and closet; full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster/airfryer, blender, oven/stove, coffee maker, dishes, glasses, silverware, and many other cooking and baking amenities; full bathroom with shower and heated floors. Beautiful backyard with patio, gas BBQ grill, outdoor furniture, and a garden for your use! Owner will pay for utilities and internet. First month's rent due at signing. Tenant responsible for picking up after pets in the backyard. Tenant responsible for taking trash, recycling, and compost bins out to curb once a week for collection. Tenant responsible for mowing the grass in the backyard. Front yard is a native landscape, so some upkeep needed to keep tidy. In the winter, the sidewalk, walkway to the front door, and apartment entrance needs shoveling. When I am home, I can help but I plan on traveling quite a bit. We will share the main mailbox at front porch and I will give instructions on where to place any mail I receive. Tenant will be responsible for changing rechargable batteries in ring doorbells and in door locks when they get low. Smoking not allowed inside the apartment. Parking is available in driveway or on opposite side of the street. I may be storing my vehicle in front of shed in backyard while I am traveling, so car may be available as needed. Tenant must be dog friendly as I may have my dog in my home upstairs (with me or with sitter).
