Neighborhood Description Close to restaurants, bowling alley, quick access to 141, 44, and 270. If you are in to hiking or walking/running trails, fishing, model airplanes, baseball, soccer, there are many parks very close by within miles that have it all. One of the parks (5 minutes drive) is Buder Park located right on the other side of the Meramec river. This park has a great spot to fish on the river, open fields for flying kites, or playing football, soccer, etc. But its know best for its baseball fields and of course the airplanes. People from all over come to this park to fly and watch model planes. We go down there for morning walks and watch. The World Bird Sanctuary and Lone Elk Park are also a quick 5-10 min car ride away as well. Not only is it just a normal park for your normal picnics and family gatherings, and the home of the world bird sanctuary, but it also contains different animals, like, Elk, deer, buffalo, turkeys, and different animals. The animals are all contained in this enclosed park, and you and your family can take a nice drive through the park and view the animals. It makes for a great weekend drive.
