My current housemate, the homeowner, is heading out west, and I'm excited to find the perfect person to take her place. Located on State Street, this home offers an ideal spot just a short stroll from downtown Champaign and campus. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for walking and biking, with plenty of nearby dining options and beautiful trees lining the streets. The house features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 modern bathrooms. You'll love the inviting kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, and a recessed common area that boasts full-height windows overlooking the expansive backyard perfect for gardening or simply enjoying nature. The basement includes a washer and dryer for your convenience, and there's plenty of room for relaxation and creativity throughout the home. I work in the software industry, and work outside of the house during the week. I'm respectful of shared spaces and enjoy my quiet time, but I'm also happy to share films, music, and books. I love cooking and baking, and I'm open to coordinating shared meals from time to time for a little extra camaraderie! 1 year lease. No smoking inside the property.
