There is a very cozy front porch where we sit and watch the world go by in warmer weather. The basement was waterproofed in the Fall of 2006. We installed new kitchen cabinets/counter '05, new exterior doors '05, new furnace in March 06, and new carpet throughout. We also updated to newer interior doors on the 2nd floor and we opened the closets in three of the bedrooms to allow easier access to what we store in them. The Neptune washer/dryer were purchased at year's end in 2005 and the kitchen was given a new refrigerator, stove and dishwasher in 2005/2006 (high end stainless and black). Neighborhood Description It's a pretty quiet neighborhood and there are newer families moving in with younger children. The public elementary school is at one end of the street. The middle school provides a bus and the high school is less than 2 miles away. We are close to convenience shopping and some fast food restaurants. We are close to the freeway and 3 houses from the corner.
