Townhouse · Built 1910 · Historic
One Bedroom available in a beautiful 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath Capitol Hill rowhouse with 4 other young female professionals. This is an amazing house in a perfect location! The house is 7 blocks away from Union Station metro (Red line), Eastern Market metro (Blue/Orange/Silver lines), and H Street. Within walking distance, there are several bars and restaurants (can't wait until they reopen!!), multiple workout studios, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and Giant. We are also near Stanton Park and Lincoln Park, which have both been outside oases during quarantine! The house is professionally cleaned twice a month (per the lease) and utilities run between $60-100 a month per person, depending on the season. Sadly, we cannot allow furry friends to live with us. We are all very easy-going, friendly, and independent. In real life (outside of quarantine), we all have pretty busy schedules, so none of us are home all too often at the same time, except for Bachelor Monday nights. We love to sit out and grill on our front wrap-around porch, try new recipes in the kitchen, and give a little TLC to our new plant children. All of the common areas are furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked. The room will be available on April 1 or as early as March 21st! and is $1,415/month plus utilities (~$60-100). This room is on the 2rd floor and shares a bathroom with one other girl. Fortunately, sharing a bathroom has never been an issue since we all have different schedules. The room can fit a queen bed, a dresser, desk, a bedside time and a bookcase. It is the largest bedroom in the house. The best part of the bedroom is the large walk-in closet organized with shelves and hanging racks! The room also has a large window that has been key to surviving quarantine. The roommate moving out has lived in the house for over a year and is very sad to be leaving. We are hoping to find a roommate that is relaxed, sociable, and clean. If you are interested, please send us a little bit about yourself including: where you currently live, why you are looking for a new home, what you do for work, what you like to do for fun/in quarantine, and most importantly, do you like wine? And in these crazy times of quarantine, we hope that the potential roommates will be taking social distancing measures as seriously as we are. If you are interested in the room, we can schedule a FaceTime/Zoom tour and tell you more about ourselves and the house. Lease goes until September 1st 2021 with the option to renew
