Hello! An English basement studio apartment just opened up in my townhouse. It is in the basement floor of a beautiful townhouse that has been converted into three separate apartments. The apartment itself is one bedroom/one bath and is located in Woodley Park. The lease is flexible/would start ASAP; rent is $1500 utilities/cable included. The pictures are limited as the space is currently under slight renovations, but can be provided upon request/a viewing can be arranged either by FaceTime/Skype or in person. Also, the renovations should be done very shortly so we would like to get it filled ASAP. The apartment is an open space, but has a full kitchen and room for a living space/bedroom. It also has its own back porch and back entrance. There is a brand new washer/dryer in the basement area right outside of the apartment that is only shared with two other people and is free (not coin operated). In that additional basement area (outside of the apartment) is room for additional storage at a small additional cost, if requested. The apartment is only one block away from the Woodley Park metro station and nearby bus/circulator stops. It's a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and is in walking distance of the bars/restaurants in both Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle. It's also two blocks away from the zoo and Rock Creek Park. A cat would be allowed (there is a cat that lives upstairs but it is hypoallergenic) and no smoking whatsoever.
