The winter season hosts snowmobilers, cross-country skiers, and ice fishermen. The eastern portion of the park is open for hunting deer, small game, and waterfowl, in season. Visitors can enjoy beach swimming, biking, horseback riding, hiking, hunting, fishing (and ice fishing), snowmobiling (trail is very close to property) , and cross-country skiing. Amenities are close by in Bridgeport, just 1 mile away, and an easy commute to Syracuse in less than a half hour and its surrounding communities.
