This spacious retreat features complimentary towels and bed linens, a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor firepit, fast Wi-Fi, a 50-inch Smart TV, a deck with a propane BBQ grill, a fully stocked kitchen with essential appliances and basic staples, a washer and dryer, ductless split system quiet 18K BTU AC units in each bedroom and living room, and a kids room equipped with a TV, toys and games. Kayaks are available at the lake for an additional fee. Pets are welcome with a fee of $250 and must be up to date on flea and tick prevention. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Located inside the amenity-filled Locust Lake Village, the community is quiet, safe, and secluded, with its own security. Amenities include three lakes with sandy beaches, a ski hill with a rope tow, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball, and bocce courts, and a community center. The lakes are stocked with fish, and boating, except for outboard motor types, is permitted. In the winter you can use the community's ski hill with a rope tow and a sledding hill (weather permitting). In the spring and summer, you can use the three beautiful community lakes with roped-off swimming areas. There are playgrounds, basketball, baseball, and tennis courts. In the summer the community clubhouse has events such as bonfires, performances, bingo, fishing tournaments for kids and firework shows on certain holidays. It is only 15 minutes away from many of the top local attractions: skiing (Big Boulder and Jack Frost), Pocono Raceway, Kalahari indoor Waterpark, Crossing Outlets (shopping), Camelback Mountain, and Tobyhanna State Park. No smoking or large parties (more than eight people) are allowed on the property. All the neighbors live there full-time and will call security. All pets, including service and ESA, must be disclosed. All guests must be registered with the community at least 48 hours before check-in. Vehicle registration is $5, includes parking, and gives you access to the trash compactor. All guests must respect quiet hours ranging from 10 pm to 7 am. Kindly note that a $350 refundable security deposit is required and will be collected directly by the partner after your booking is confirmed.
