Hello! We are looking for someone to fill a basement level bedroom in a four bedroom home right on Sherman Circle in the Petworth neighborhood. The room has its own full bathroom as well as a private entryway, which leads out to one of the home's parking spaces. There are stairs leading up to the main home, which has a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and a large, fenced in backyard. The other three bedrooms are on the top floor along with a laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer set. The home faces Sherman Circle park and has the following perks nearby: * 15 minute walk to the Georgia Ave/Petworth metro station. *C75 bus stop located right outside the home and arrives at the metro in ~5 min * 12 minute walk to Safeway * Lots of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance The rent is $1260 + utilities (~$60 per month, give or take), and we are looking for someone to sign a one-year lease starting between now and November 15th. We have 2 kitties in the home who are very loving and sweet so being a cat person is a plus! We can accept one more cat into the fold if you have one.
