We have a home that we are looking to rent out from August 4, 2026 to July 31, 2027. This property is conveniently located 5 (very short) blocks south of campus near the IU Optometry and Law Schools. The Cross street is South Woodlawn Avenue. The neighborhood is comprised of a mix of homeowners (some faculty) and students as well. This furnished limestone house has three levels including a finished basement, furnished main floor, and furnished upstairs bedrooms. This home used to belong to my wife's parents (IU tenured professors) and has a long history with IU residents. This home would be ideal for either long-term stays, upper-class undergraduates, or graduate school students. In regard to the specs of the house, the home has three bedrooms (all upstairs), two and a half bathrooms, entirely remodeled kitchen (summer 2016), separate laundry area, refinished hardwood floors in both living room and dining room, and all bedrooms. In regard to the outside, there is a large front yard, backyard with a patio, and a one car garage with a large driveway (can fit three more cars). During the winter and fall months, we will take care of the landscaping upkeep as well as snow removal responsibilities.
