Like new luxury 1-bedroom apartment with views up and down Market Street. Amazing light and views of the historic architecture of San Francisco going back over 100 years. 30 Mason street was built in 1907 right after the great earthquake and fire, and completely renovated including seismic upgrade in 2007. This apartment is just like new, with brand new hardwood floors, new washing machine, new glass shower door, new toilet, new 4-stage drinking water filter and fresh paint throughout. This was my home for the past ten years and I loved living here, despite some intermittent noise from the street below, it feels like you have your finger on the pulse of the city. I loved sitting in my living room watching the Powell street cable car on the turntable, or lying in bed and seeing the moon through the huge 7' tall window. Most of the time it's very quiet and peaceful living here on the 5th floor, but being right in the heart of the city means you can expect some noise from outside at least from time to time. They banned private cars from this part of Market street so that has helped quiet the street down noticeably. The windows face East and Southeast and looks out over the entire Hallidie Plaza, Flood Building and the City Center Mall. Living here made me a morning person like I had never been before, I woke up every day bright and early with tons of energy to tackle life in the big city. This building is also 942 Market street and has entrances on the Market street side of the building as well as Mason street. Tenant to pay $100 per month for utilities. Water, electric, steam heat, garbage and high speed internet are included. 12 month lease. There are standard move-in and move-out fees due to the association and moving must be scheduled ahead of time with the HOA Property Manager. Lessee must have proof of renters insurance for the HOA and follow all CC&Rs including 75% rugs or floor coverings in the unit while occupied.
